another tune today that i received via email that really caught my attention. especially when i listened to the original track by now new yorker reni lane. you can check it out on her myspace pageto hear for yourself. the original is a straight up rock song. but when you hear the remix, its almost as if the vocals were recorded specifically for this dreamy remix by monsieur adi (and just to be clear, hes actually italian and not french). the entire feel of the song has been completely transformed and is so different from the original that you probably wouldnt even recognize the original if not for the repeating title lyrics and while i dont normally recommend it, listening to the original rock version of the song, i think youll be surprised at what a drastic change you have witnessed (and reni, this is not a knock on the original at all). exactly the kind of remix i dig the most.

Awesome tune. I’m actually digging Lane’s solo stuff alot more than what ‘The Like’ have put out in recent years. The RAC remix of this song great too. I don’t know which one I like more!
