Owen Pallett, the artist previously known as Final Fantasy, recently released his first album “Heartland” under his new moniker, which is actually his original moniker before he had a moniker in the first place. Got all that? But really, what’s in a name anyway? Not a whole lot, as long as the music is creative, full of depth, and, of course, enjoyable to the ears. Luckily for Owen Pallett, he not only meets but surpasses all of these requirements.
The interesting thing is, I actually already posted an epic, rain-filled live performance of this very song, before I even knew what this song was. Now we are lucky enough to have a well produced studio version of this track, and I’m including the live video again just for good measure, because it’s a great example of talent and passion. Yet another Coachella artist that I’m hoping to be able to catch.
