Today we’ve got yet another fantastic find that I’m pretty in love with at this moment, once again courtesy of Mr. J. Alexander, esquire. This time, it’s a track from Tensnake, a producer out of Hamburg who looks just as cool as his music. His music is definitely inspired by early 80s disco groove, and that is clearly evident in today’s track, “Coma Cat”, from the EP of the same name.
This is another one of those tracks that starts out very unassumingly, but then at about 1:30, you get bitch-slapped with the 80s disco groove that I was telling you about. And it only gets more prominent as the 6+ minute track goes on. I would be willing to make a wager that when you’re done listening to this song, you would be more inclined to move around than you were before you listened to this song, or even just after the song began. I’m just going to make it a gentleman’s bet though, because it would be far too difficult to collect all those winnings from the 5 readers out there.
