Ever find one of those songs that just makes you smile from the first moments the song begins? Thanks to Lo-Fi-Fnk, I’ve now got another one of those songs in my arsenal. I know next to nothing about Lo-Fi-Fnk, but from what I’ve been reading around the internets, it sounds like their older tunes are way dancier than this one and some were a bit put off by the chillin’ nature of this one, but I’ve got absolutely nothing to compare to, and I’m 100% on board with everything about “Marchin’ In”.
As soon as the song starts, there’s this jubilant sort of synth riff that carries throughout the song. Then it’s layered over a heavy bassline, and the whole song seems to get louder and louder as it goes along. Overall, it’s maybe the happiest sounding song I’ve heard in recent memory. There’s also a really beautiful video that goes along with it, which I’ve included below. I think the visuals perfectly match the tone of the song.
