It’s pretty tough to find any info on Flight Facilities around the interweb, but fortunately their smooth jams speak for themselves. Maybe the best chance we’ll get at this point at finding out anything about them is from their interview done by the excellent blog Too Many Sebastians, but even then, things are a bit unclear. What we do know is that these guys are pretty new to the scene, are from Australia and/or Trinidad and Tobago (I give up), and have received a bunch of hype from Perez Hilton. I’m still not sure whether or not that’s a good thing, but I can’t be too turned off when a fantastic smaller group gets some major recognition, even if it’s from someone that I don’t love. I guess I just think it’s weird how he always posts pictures of old/out of shape celebs naked.

Back to the matter at hand, The C90s have done a great job of taking a great tune that’s got a bit of a jazzy and housey vibe and really accentuating the funky riff that comes in at the end of the original. There are some other great remixes of this one out there as well, so check them out. We hope to hear more from Flight Facilities in the near future.
