One of the reasons we love Royksopp so very much is their use of guest vocalists of only the highest caliber. Take Karin Dreijer Andersson for example. She’s definitely a visionary in so many ways, and her one of a kind, instantly recognizable voice adds so much to the Royksopp beats. On their 2005 album The Understanding, she memorably sang a slower tune “What Else is There?” which has resulted in some fantastic remixes that you should probably hear. First, we’ve got the original track below for reference. Next, a remix by Stuart Price, also known as Thin White Duke (whose Friendly Fires remix was included in our Blogwave Summer mixtape). And finally, a remix by Denmark’s Trentemøller Check them both out below and let us know what’s your favorite. I happen to think that both of these remixes kill.

While these two remixes are pretty amazing — the best remix of “What Else is There” is Jacques Lu Cont’s 2am Mix. Seriously. That one is epic. Been on my iPod for ever and still gets constant replays. Check it out
