As we begin our annual amazing week off work when we are still extremely busy and don’t have that much time to relax, I thought it would be good to share a couple of low key jams that would be perfect for throwing on and listening to while doing absolutely nothing but straight chillin, courtesy of Diamond Messages aka Jason Craig. He’s recently released his Smoke And Mirrors EP via Spontaneous Rhythm and contains the two tracks below plus a couple more. This music is lo-fi, beat-driven, totally chill goodness with nice melodies and the soothing vocals that sometimes show up don’t hurt things either. Check out some pretty awesome/trippy videos below that visually summarize the sound of these tracks pretty well (as does the EP cover shown above). I could do lo-fi music all day. Especially now that we are getting into the dead of winter, because lo-fi music such as this makes me feel all warm and cozy inside, as though I am laying beside a pool on a lazy summer afternoon. It needs to be summer real real soon.
