Ok kids, I’m not going to lie, I’ve never heard of Project Jenny, Project Jan. But when I heard that their newest music video got posted on mashable, I knew that there must have been something pretty noteworthy about, and that was exactly the case. You see, what made this video mashable worthy was the fact that the New York based band worked completely remotely with Turkish artist Hikmet Barutçugil who is a pro at the technique you see in the video called marbling, which is essentially painting atop an aqueous surface. The effect is pretty outstanding, and the amount of detail Barutçugil is able to achieve is extremely impressive. I actually didn’t even like the tune that much at first but it definitely grew on me as the song went on and with the awesome visual show I couldn’t have turned it off if I wanted to.
