The Söderberg sisters look barely old enough to drive but the maturity of sound and emotion heard on First Aid Kit’s album, The Lion’s Roar, suggests an age they are not. The Swedish duo, replete with American folk and country influence, have triumphed in their sophomore effort as they beautifully croon out poignant lyrics. The chorus to track “Emmylou” pines “I’ll be your Emmylou, and I’ll be your June . If you’ll be my Gram and my Johnny, too.” Pretty darn perfect.
