I’m probably the last person in the world (of my music blogger friends on Twitter) to get to know the electronic wonder that is Onra. But now I’m kinda sad that it took me so long and I got a whole lot of catching up to do. Because if I wasn’t convinced before I heard the very first notes of “L.O.V.E.”, I’m completely convinced now. This track touches on elements of 70s disco, 80s synth pop and even a hint of 90s R&B. I hereby solemnly swear that I will no longer take the copious Onra recommendations with a grain of salt. But the good part about finally checking out a great artist way later than you should have is the abundant back catalogue that you get to explore.
