neon indian – deadbeat summer
did anyone guess what the final non saturday throwback song of summer song week would be? i think there was really no other logical choice for tons of reasons, the most obvious being that my entire week has consisted of enjoying a deadbeat summer. i think its only fair since the weather has been so awful this year that it doesnt even really feel like weve had a summer at all. someone earlier in the week told me that this is the second coolest summer weve had on record where i live and i kind of believe them. but hopefully by now my skin has been fried to a nice golden brown because my ability to tan is one of my only good features, so it would really be a waste if i didnt get to utilize it this year. …read more and hear the song…
