king khan and the shrines – torture
another day, another song thats not super new. today its “torture” by king khan and the shrines. i cant tell if the group is from germany or canada. it sounds like a little of both. im kind of sad that we missed them at the 2008 pitchfork festival because it sounds like king khan is a crazy frontman and that their set is ridiculously energetic and over the top. this description, of course, immediately reminds me of another act from 2008 pitchfork festival, the wild les savy fav. besides frontman tim harringtons wild on stage antics, he was also seen throughout the crowd giving massages with tons of lotion (which was extra gross because it was HOT outside last year) and giving haircuts to whatever hipster in the crowd would pay him for one. …read more and hear the song…
