this week is shaping up to be pretty high energy, so im just gonna go with it. must be a mood im lately with all the excitement of the holidays coming up. namely the 11 days off in a row i will have beginning on december 23rd at noon. even though ive already got something going on almost every one of those 11 days, it will still be a nice change of pace for a while. another song from 2008 today, this time by UKs the black ghosts, made up of simon lord and theo keating. their self-tiled debut album was released in 2008, though i think this track was first released in 2007 as part of an EP.
there are tons of remixes of this track, but i really think this is a song that works so well just as it is that none of the remixes ive heard really did anything for me. i like the almost non-stop lyrics throughout the song and the way they make use of every single beat. and the way it gets a little heavier musically near the end.
